Key Terms


Accessibility - making sure that anyone, even witha physical or mental disability can access the services of a business
Copyright - the legal right for the creator of an idea, image, film, artwork, music, etc to control that works use for a period of time
Viral marketing -the power of the internet to spread information via individuals sending the message to friends and colleagues
Guerrilla marketing - non-traditional methods making consumers aware of a product, chat rooms, forums, discussion boards, email, blogs etc

Plenary

The legislation a website must comply with is the Data Protection Act, Copyright Design and Patents act and consumer legislation. Explain to your neighbour what a website owner must do to comply with these laws.
